Common acne or acne vulgaris affect most teenagers as well as adults. Outbreaks can show up as whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, and in some individuals, as deep painful bumps. Acne most commonly occurs on the region of the face, but can also affect the back, chest, shoulders, and neck.
The physician will prescribe a customized treatment plan for your acne including medications (oral, topical, washes, etc.) and possibly acne treatments with our highly skilled skin care nurse. Acne treatments may vary from glycolic treatments, extractions, exfoliation, and thorough cleansing. For optimal results, 3 to 6 treatments are recommended.
