Warts are non-cancerous skin growths that are hard, bumpy, rough pieces of skin. They are typically brown, pink or red in color. It is a contagious virus that can be spread by direct contact with others. Warts may develop anywhere on the body, typically on the hands, bottom of the feet, fingers and genitals.
